will my socket 478 3.2e bottleneck a 7800gtx. Albarton make a board that has socket 478 and pci express that im looking into buying. but dont wanna bottleneck my vidcard becasuse of my cpu. I can run @ 3.8 if that would help out but dont really wanna o/c any info would help thanxs.

I think in order for a bottleneck to be large enough that it would make an upgrade not worthwhile, your CPU would have to have a problem pushing whatever the next card down is. Since a 3.2E is perfectly capable of pushing a 6800Ultra, one way or another you would still benefit from a 7800GTX. If you're not looking to upgrade your platform yet, you could always invest in some low latency RAM too. That would definitely help drive the card. And yes, overclocking always helps :)
