They have it again and its only 165.00 thats cheap I just bought one and put the 2.6c on ebay I paid 135.00 for that still cheap too they even ship it for free
just thought I would let the IPD members know
 
I think that's for registered IPD's, not just all IPD's.

To be a registered IPD you have to sell a certain amount of Intel product (From a recognized Intel dealer) every quarter.

It also gets you the Uber-RMA program (Overnight product to you, then you send defective product back).

The only down side is you can only buy one at that price one of everything they give you a deal on and thats it
anyone can sign up but you have to buy a certain amount a quarter to get the deals I think its 10

So unless you want to buy like... 10 56k Intel modems... yer SOL.

I have actually not bought anything in a longtime they will catch up to me eventually but until then its on my side

I should get it tomorrow I will let you know the oc the last one I got 2.6c only does 2.86:(
but I think most 3.0's will do at least 3.6 I am looking for
3.75 250fsb but I will be happy at 3.3

I'm heading out to ICC3 this morning too. Gonna talk to the Nvidia rep and ask when the 6800ultra will show up.

I oced to 3.75 on stock voltage idling at 34c on air:eek:
I am so glad I bought this I am going to try for the 4gig mark later this weekend after I broke it in at 3.75 lol
 
Ok the max I got is 3.9@1.6volts it posts at 4.05 but I need more voltage and I am not sweating the 100mhz for the extra volts Thats a gig jump from my old cpu not bad at all its the d1 stepping for those who are curious its the sl6wk and pack date 3/8/2004
 
Yea, thats insane, when I bought mine not too many people were OCing the 3.0s

I'm still a little wairy of doing it though. It'll be my 1st OC, and I just don't know if my RAM is going to be able to take the higher speed; and latencys on this ram already arent that great.
