2x 6950 or 1x 570?

is your tv 1080p? I have a 42inch 1080p tv and I am playing every game I play on max settings...Skyrim, Crysis 2, Witcher 2 assassins creed Brotherhood. And I am fine. If It was me I would go with a cheap 6950 like the sapphire or xfx right now and wait until 7xxx series or just wait all together if you dont need a card right now. because the new cards look pretty promising (the rumors do at least)

but isn't the 7xxx series supposed to be expensive?
 
well here in america (Not sure if your from the states) 2 6950's will run you about 550-600 dollars and the new series cards should be at or around that price for their high end cards. Hopefully! Im thinking it cant be any more than 700 dollars for the High end cards but I could be wrong.
 
Triple-slot coolers can be a problem unless your PCIe x16 are spaced 4 slots apart.

If not, then better get at least one dual-slot 6950 (you can mix different manufacturers and even 6970s with the 6950 for CF).
