i rmaing my gtx 295 cause problems im having looking to get 2 285 but wanna make sure i be able to power them up my specs is


1x dvd burner
1x 750gb hdd
core i
4x fans
pc power and cooling 750watt


also im going get 1 ssc and a sc version of evga 285 would it matter much?
 
If one is clocked higher than the other, the higher clocked version will downclock itself to match the slower.

Actually the 750W might be a bit weak for the GTX 285 SLi. If it works, then you're going to be cutting it close.
I think you're looking at 800W to 850W minimum, typically.
 
I don't know how much your system is pulling at the wall right now but with my system specs
i7 920, 4x seagates, 2 gtx285 sli running crysis sucks about 500 watt at the wall when under full load (according to my PSU AND kill-a-watt_.
 
I have that exact same PSU and I grabbed my friends 280 along with my old one and never noticed a single issue or stability...
 
pc&p is an awsome brand some of the highest quality PSU's available. it'll eat anything you throw at it.
