it seems like the two pin design leaves a lot to be desired

I've got some more trial and error but the for now the weight of the hoses pulls down the front side of the block.. good contact on the back of the core and not so great on the front side ... arrrghhh wish i had four points...

any remedies?

You have to find a way to support the hoses until the artic silver has time to squeeze out and really stick the block to the GPU. If your block is actually TIPPING then you've got some serious strain on the tubes or your block is way too loose. You might need to get some Tygon just for that part of your loop since it bends so easily.

well the block didn't come with the righ hardware so i got some from ace .. using little springs..

i might remove the springs and snug it up with a little more force..

i also thoought about shiming up the back side to effectively push the back down ..counteracting the weight on front .. we'll see

probably just being to cautious .. need to wrench it down a bit more ..
