2gig 4870?

Wow...great looking card, although I doubt there's much of a diff between this and the 1gb version.

Yea im thinkin the only difference you will notice is anything higher then 1920X1200

But you never know. I remember when we all thought a 1gig 4870 wouldnt be that much of a difference...
 
Well, it seems to be a gimmick to sell cards. Seeing how 4890 is just around the corner, I really don't see the appeal in this card.

Yea i dunno i would love to see some benches of it first before I pass judgement.

I mean Sapphire also made a 4850x2 which is a really decent card for the price. I say lets see some benches before we make judgement

yeah at 1920 you arent likely to go over 1gb in any game. at 2560 it helps but you need more gpu power too at that res. if I had a 30inch monitor and money wasnt a concern I would go with 4870 2gb in crossfire over a 4870x2 or 4870 1gb crossfire setup.
