2G DDRII800 Memory Module, Any suggestions?

Hi,

I'd like to have 2G DDRII 800 memory module. My first choice is TWIN2X2048-6400PRO. But I can hardly find any in-stock vendors. Maybe I should wait until March, but I don't think I can wait this long.

Do you think Kingstone KHX6400D2K2/2G is good substitution? Or any other good suggestions?

My mobo is Gigabyte 8I955X Royal, CPU is Intel D 940. I will do OC.

hmm, i guess you kinda have to have a huge budget for ddr2-800 (which is another reason i'm sooooo tempted to build an intel rig to do ddr2 reviews on :p)

i guess the hyper-x scores the win, though i think i'd wait a while to see what happens.. maybe a month. do you need ram, or is it just an upgrade?

It's not an upgrade. I'm not sure about the OC performence of Hyper-X. Hardly can find any reviews about it. So you suggest me to wait?

I'm not familiar about the crucial and OCZ. I will take some time to have a look. Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

the crucial ballistix are probably the hands down best around right now, as micron has a tendancy to cull the top bin chips for crucial, but for some reason, the 1gb ballistix sticks are insanely expensive, even for ddr
if you go with crucial, there's an important thing to note. the end of the product number. on the sticks linked, you can barely make it out to be .16FA, the A signifies what most people know as D9 fatbodies, which are amazing with a bit of voltage ;)

also, this is part of why i'm suggesting we wait for a while for prices to drop and better products to come out. micron will reveal a C die soon enough, which may or may not be better, and other companies should show their hand with hopefully awesome ic's.
 
BTW, which one do you prefer? Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400PRO or Crucial Ballistix 2GB?
