What is up with this? I don't understand the need to overclock your 2D settings. Why would you need to do that?

you wouldn't

some people though have claimed they find more stability in their 3D overclocks by also overclocking their 2D speed to the same settings as 3D

but i have not experienced this

Ahahahahahhahaha, that's it? Man you should be getting 10K or so in Office, considering Q3 at 1600 with 6xAA / 16xAF gets you about 400FPS on todays hardware :p
 
increasing 2dspeed just increases idle temp, but it will load up big pictures and flash games might seem smoother :p

You guys crack me up. Bumping up 2D speed didn't make sense to me but hey...I suppose it's useful for something...like marketing. lol
