Hey guys I'm making a comp thats gonna be used primarily for CAD, what would be the best card for nearly purely 2d work. Is Parahelia still the king of 2d?
 
Matrox still reigns supreme in 2d but ATi has pretty good 2d too (just make sure you get the 400mhz ramdacs).

Anything GF4MX and up, G400 and up, & Radeon 7500 and up - you'd be hard pressed to see much of a difference in 2D IQ.

Current cards are almost identical in image quality.
