I was able to actually get my hands on a 290x for $575+tax today. So far with a bit of tweaking and following what justintoxicated did with his I am getting 1.02MH/s out of it. I think things are looking okay so far. We will see how it fares for the next 24hr.

What brand? And do you know what you're pulling at the wall?

Temp looks good but damn, 90% fan? And under volted?
 
290 and 290x need lots o fan if reference design...........I have 4 of them so I know.

Not sure what it's pulling from the wall. It is a reference design so it's cooling sucks.

EDIT: it is a MSI reference design card.
 
Can you send me a link to the bios you used. I really need to get my 290's flashed. Should be able to get around 900 with each card.
