What is the recommended power supply for two 2900XT in crossfire? Could I get away with a BFG 650w sli power supply?

Click Here and you will find what power supplies are good enough to power 2x 2900XT. You can check their specs and compare them to your power supply, and if you power supply has the juice to power them, then you will be fine(assuming that you aren't bothered with the lack of 8-pin PCIE connectors on your BFG).

If you are running Vista and want to overclock, you will want to get a power supply with 8 pn PCI-e or the 6-8 PCI-e adaptors. Currently ATI Tool and AMD GPU Tool, either dont support Vista or dont support Crossfire. So you will have to us the Overdirve feature in the CCC, which means that you will need the 8 pin PCI-E connectors.

My Seasonic 650w ran my 2900XT Xfire just fine, but I got a good deal on the Thermaltake 1200W PSU so I ended up upgrading to it. Complete over kill I know, but how many people have a PSU that could power the USS Enterprise.
