Hello,
I am researching buying a waterblock for my 2900 PRO, and everyone I find seems to be 2900 XT compatible, but mentions nothing about the 2900 PRO.
The card is specifically: SAPPHIRE 100212SR Radeon HD 2900PRO 512MB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16

From the research on the ATI site they appear to be the same card physically, but I can't confirm this. Can anyone who has experience with these two cards help me make a determination if a 2900 XT waterblock would be compatible with a 2900 PRO, or a recommendation on a waterblock for the 2900 PRO?

The only reservation I have is the dang waterblocks seem to cost as much as the video card

Thanks for any help

I'm 99% sure there is no physical difference. I believe the 2900Pro's were just XT's that didn't quite clock all the way to XT speeds.

Thanks for the responses, everything I am finding is the same results.
They are pretty much the same card physically.

Think the pro is an XT with a better cooler. Think they just created the pro to dump stock of XTs at a lower price bracket since most of them hit xt speeds and beyond pretty easily.
