270x on 350w PSU

Hi Guys,
my cousin has an old HP system with A8 3820 in it.
i got a new 290 and was gonna send him my old 270x

he has a 350w psu -

should it be able to run 270x? it wont matter if it dies in 6 - 8 months
[i think it might since i am running 290 on a 500w mediocre psu]

let me know what you think since if its a big NO NO , then i will get a new one myself and send him my old one.
 
Sounds like a mess, he's going to need to get molex to 6/8 pin PCIe adapters most likely too. He should just upgrade the PSU and not have to worry about any of it.
 
Based on the detailed specs on that PSU label, I wouldn't use it for a 270x. The way it's rated it's more like a 250W PSU.
