I was looking around for monitors recently and came across the 2707wfp for $499 at the dell outlet. I liked this price so I checked out some reviews. Some of them mentioned input lag. The main use of the monitor would be gaming. Mainly RTS and RPGs and some FPS. For anyone who has used the monitor, is the lag noticeable? I'm by no means a professional gamer so I think a little lag would be fine but if its really bad I will steer clear.
Thanks for any advice.
 
I have the newer 2709W and it is fine for the gaming I do, but I am not sensitive to inputlag as much as others. What displays have you used previously and have you noticed any inputlag on them?

I've been using a Samsung 226bw for about a year and a half and haven't noticed any. Is input lag pretty common in LCDs? That is the first LCD I've used.
 
The 226BW is a TN panel which are known for very low input lag. If you go from that to a 2707wfp you will notice the difference. You may be able to adjust to it after a while. It really depends on the person. If you don't do FPS gaming competitivly you should be OK.

Itis a great dispaly for everything, but competitive FPS gaming.
