I'm looking to upgrade from my present 60Hz 27" IPS monitor to a G-Sync monitor. Before someone asks, yes, I have a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB Windforce card in my computer. And, yes, I am aware of the price premium of a G-Sync monitor.
I'm looking at three different monitors: a Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz, AOC Agon AG271QG, and a ViewSonic XG2703-GS. In looking at the specs....
What is the difference between the three monitors?
I'm looking at three different monitors: a Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz, AOC Agon AG271QG, and a ViewSonic XG2703-GS. In looking at the specs....
- All three have IPS panels
- All three have 2560 x 1440 Quad HD
- The AOC is limited to 144Hz. The ViewSonic and Acer appear to be overclockable to 165Hz.
- The ViewSonic appears to be the cheapest at $700 at NewEgg. The AOC is $750. The Acer is $800 at NewEgg.
What is the difference between the three monitors?
