2600XT Upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my video card. My current card is a Radeon HD 2600XT from HIS. My issue with this card is that I cannot leave my computer plugged in to my television. If I have it plugged in to the television my computer will not boot up. I need to boot the computer while connected to a monitor and once finished then plug it in to the televsion. I have read other people having similar issues with the 2600XT.

I have a 32" Sharp Aquois. I currently do not play graphic intensive games. My wife uses the television a lot to watch Netflix and more recently Hulu. Could someone suggest a video card that will work and allow my computer to boot up while plugged in to my television while not breaking the bank.

Thanks!

I'm guessing the GTX 450 might be what you're looking for a as it seems to cater to the "media pc" market.
