Ok I've been having some really frustrating episodes of trying to get this damn tv to display the correct resolution. I have a Panasonic TC-26LX20 26" Widescreen HDTV-Ready Flat-Panel LCD TV. Anyways, its got component outputs along with HDMI. I currently have a 150 dollar Monster HDMI to DVI cable. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to display the desktop correctly. About half an inch or so all the way around is extended past the monitor making it impossible to see the start button, the time, and all icons on the left side along with the recycle bin. I am using the most current version of the ATI drivers which says to have enhanced HDTV support. I am currently using a 9800pro and have powerstrip installed. I dunno what to do. I have tried everything. I'm to the point that I may try switching to nvidia to see if it works better. I've tried doing custom resolutions but it makes the tv wig out. I dont want to do anything to dramatic cause it cost me 2grand and I dont wanna break it. If I use an s-video cable, I get all the correct PC resolutions..works perfect, I can see the full desktop etc..but it looks like shit..WAY too blurry. Is there ANY way I can get the damn thing to work correctly?
