256mb Lexar memery stick help, please!!

Its a regular lexar 256(128x2) memory stick I use for a sony cybershot. Something happened and when im on side A it says file error, then the lcd goes blue and it shuts off. The other side(B) works fine. Any ideas on whats wrong?

Have you tried formating side A ? That fixes alot of issues

How would one go about formating side A?

If your camera has the dial at the top . move it over to setup. then the format selection is there.
