256mb FX5200?

what a waste of good memory they could put on better cards.

Anyone have any benchmarks on this card, I thinking it's equal or WORSE than the normal 128 meg 5200.

And don't yell at me for wanting one, cause i really don't i'm just trying to keep a friend from getting it, he's all 256meg omg, that means it's awesome! but it's not.

that's what i'm telling him it's just a marketing gimmick for the stupid people, memory isn't all that matters on a video card it's all in the GPU/VPU and the chip acceses and manages that memory. If i'm not mistaken there weren't much difference between the 128m 9800 and the 256m one right? So how the hell should a 5200 be expected to even use all of the 128megs! god, stupid nvidia, they're just doing this to piss off the enthusiasts but they do have customers dumb enough to buy this card so whatever, i guess they need the money to help make nv40 kick ati's ass which it probably won't anyway.
