Hey All, I'm new here, thought it was time i join up.

Something kinda weird happened today with my proc.

I have a AXP 2500m, and i had it clocked at 2.33 ghz (233x10)

It was at 1.8v, and i think i forgot to turn up my fan, as i recently raised the cpu from 2.2 to 2.3ghz.

So i was playing a game, and it locked up, and when i rebooted, the system health monitor said the cpu was at 254degC

Kinda weird, i rebooted again and it was at 66deg, so i dunno

it was a mistake. 250c is like melting ur shit.

btw someone bump that highest temp thread, you'll be the winner.
 
nope, i still have him beat with about 330C. trust me, in my case it was not just a temp monitoring glitch: it melted solder.
