Hey, I'm going to check this deal out at CompUSA, it's a "Generic" drive, but it looks like it might be a rebadged Maxtor from the product description.

It's not a Maxtor (not sure what it is, but it's DMA/100) and it's $109 after 2 evil MIR's totalling $55.-So it's $164.99 + tax out the door then you get to wait on the evil MIR's.

oh, well I just bought a 74GB raptor from Fry's in Plano for $179 + tax - $30 mail in rebate. Not bad, at least its the best deal I found on it.

Man I wish they had a Fry's in New Orleans. I would live at that place. In fact, I think I would go apply for a job.

I just happened to be in Dallas, b/c of the Hurricane Ivan evacuation.

Maybe, I'll just have to move to Dallas when my wife gets out of her master's program in 3 years, so I can be closer to a Fry's!!
