Hey guys right now I am running a stock hsf @ 3.8ghz. Runs great under crysis 2 temps hit 75 degrees or so idle <35degrees.

I am thinking about getting an aftermarket cooler, I was thinking the cooler master hyper 212 or corsair h60. These would require me to pull the motherboard out tho, which i don't mind doing but would avoid if possible.

So would either of those 2 fit in my case? If not what are other good coolers out there that would fit?
Is there a cooler that would work with the same pin configuration as the stock hsf?

Thanks in advance!

You can fit most of the high end air coolers with height lower than 160mm with no problem.

If you go with air cooling,i suggest you buy the Cocage TRUE Spirit instead of the Hyper 212+.

Yes,but the performance couldn't match the mid and high end coolers.

212+ fits just fine. I'm sure all air coolers would; the 922 is huge. If you added a side panel fan, though, you may run into issues.

Cooler Master has another cooler, the TX3. That uses the push pin design. I think Zalman makes one too. 212+ and what SK mentioned are only another $10-20 though, so I'd just get one of those and deal with the hassle of removing the mobo.

Hey guys thanks for the advice, ended up going with a corsair h50. I liked the lower profile feel to it opposed to the big coolers.,

The install wasn't terrible took about a half hour from start to finish, luckily the haf922 had has the open door in the mobo tray so I didn't have to take out the entire mobo.

Overall I am pleased running a mild OC at 4ghz highest temp in 6 hours has been 51c on core #1 while playing crysis 2.
