I was able to hit 5.2 stable with 1.52 v but I'm just running at 5.0 with 1.4 v
Using a zalman LQ-310 btw, nice cooler!
"My computer owns, it can actually boot into Windows" Lol that's great.
Is that chip worth more than other 2500k's is the golden question.
Well frankly, that was the case for a few windows editions in the past decade and a half.
Windows used to not be bootable?

In a manner of speaking. The computers that were being sold with Vista based around a hyperthreading Pentium 4 were lucky enough to even get into windows, let alone actually make a useful computer![]()
Vista ran and still runs perfectly fine on a Pentium 4. Isn't it way too late for Vista propaganda?
But who would spend there hard earned money on an ssd for a Pentium 4 computer? It's like me saying I will cut off one of my testicles for an extension to my johnson, you gain and lose a benefit at the same time.
Yeah no kidding. Any pentium 4 with at least 1GB of RAM and a SSD runs Vista just fine. Even a modern hard drive will do. Remember, old hard drives are a massive bottleneck. You can't blame an old CPU for sluggishness that's being caused by an aging hard drive.
Hmm. Maybe it's just the pc's I've had then. I've only ever had an SSD on my latest build, and when I was messing around with vista/pentium 4's, I only have 5400rpm drives to mess with. So that may be the case. I just know that with how cheap computers are for various levels of power, it's almost pointless to still be running a pentium 4. Anyway, not really important.
Not really, an SSD can be carried over to a new build.
