i got my 2500+ voltage down to 1.12core and i still had it running at 2.03ghz what do you people think shuld i stay with the low voltage of just go for all out speed?

i can undervolt my laptops athlon xp-m 2400 to 0.925v, but its running at 520mhz.
 
If it's stable, leave it where it is - it will run a helluva lot cooler (meaning you can turn the fans down and still have good temps) = very quiet computer

thats cool but since im not usig a mobile cpu what can you under volt your desktop to?
 
i cant undervolt my p4, but it can run at 3.3 at stock voltage :D
 
If you add voltage and its not needed would there be any performance increase at all or just higher temps?
 
if you don't up the clock, you just increase temps, and possibly decrease life of chip

to the original poster: if it runs at those speeds at that voltage and doesn't crash or anything, you can leave it there. As low as your mobo will let it go and still run stably is as low as you can take it, there is no limit just bc it's a certain type of cpu, but rather whatever range your mobo might provide (I don't know if there even is a lower limit on most mobos?)
