250 psu w/ p4???

It depends on what power supply you willbe using and what ther devices will be conencted to the power supply. For instances a generic cheap 250 is a no no but... a p2 like the ones in shuttle 220 watt is fine. I like to mention why are you asking. Are you going to be upgrading??? I like to mention does this 250 watt have a 12 volt connector aka P4 on it??
 
I've got a descent machine with a 2.26Ghz Pentium 4 running on a 200w Bestec PSU.

It depends on the rest of your setup whether or not 250w will be enough.
 
yeah. only one cd-rw drive, an audigy 2zs platinum, a video card, and a p4 would be running.

so thats cool? i have an mATX case and the highest power supply available is 250w. Unless you guys know of anything better?
 
A name brand 200w micro ATX PSU will be enough freddursth8 but i would get a 250w to be on the safe side.
 
Thanks guys, I'll consider it! That 270W Fotron looks good, but I dunno if itd fit in my mATX case. Someone told me the presario cases dont hold all types of mATX PSUs.
