Does anyone here game using a 25 ms response time lcd? What are your impressions? Yes, I know that specifications fluctuate and some 25 ms lcds actually end up being better than 16ms lcds, but this is just a simple comparison. Is <16ms critical for gaming without ghosting?

I have a samsung 172v, which have 25ms of response time. It has a remarcable ghosting, but is suitable for every type of use. I buyed it on november of 2003, and im seeking now for a replace. I´m chosing between NEC 1970 and Samsung 193P. Actually, i think that few ghosting is the price to pay for a better screen quality.

I have a envision 25ms monitor, and found 0 problems...Not even with ghosting....

I just got a 193P, and I agree that you pay for gaming to get good image quality. For reading and coding, nothing beats my 193P. I am much more productive now because I don't get as much eye strain. But now I'm looking for an LCD arm so I can move it out of the way and use my CRT for gaming. Don't plan on using the 193P for gaming, it can't compare to a CRT.
