240mm Side Fan Question/Experiment

I'm installing my new i5-2500k like you do and a little thermal paste gets stuck on the CPU protection piece of plastic thing. This means my idle temps. are around 65C. Furthermore, the side fan and the stock cpu cooler are blowing air into each other.

Apart from compensating the thermal paste lost, I was wandering if changing my 240mm Side Fan to blow air out instead of in, the case out make any difference?

Has anyone experimented this, i'd like to have an answer before actually experimenting, once i install windows on the new build i guess the temperatures could get pretty dangerous.:(

Clean Cpu,mobo, reapply cpu paste and no worries or fan kludge necessary!
