2408WFP or Soyo Topaz

I just bought a 2408wfp off of Ebay for $357 after MS cashback. It arrived today and looks good as far as no back light bleed or dead pixels, but I can tell it needs to be calibrated. I just saw a posting that someone near me is selling a Soyo Topaz that he claims has a 6ms response time and he's had it a year. That would mean that would be most likely be an MVA panel. He's selling it for $180. Anybody have any advice? It's half the price but the Dell has a 3 year warranty, and well, everybody knows the specs of both.
