I picked up a PS2 a week or two ago. With it I bought some cheap GameStop-branded component cables to use to hook it up to my 2407fpw. I've gotten an image maybe 3 or 4 times using component input. The composite input always works, as does the audio, but the component video almost always comes up blank, except for a vertical strip about an inch think along the right side of the monitor.
I'm thinking the issue is either a.) with the cheap component cables I bought (though the composite out and audio works fine) or b.) the component input on the 2407fpw is shot. I don't currently have any other devices that use component inputs to try out (damn Nintendo for stopping production on GCN component cables!). . . anyone have any experience with this and/or suggestions?
