2405FPW vs. Gateway?

I am trying to decide wether to dump the 880 bucks on the 2405FPW. I know its a great monitor, but have never seen it before my eyes. is it really that big and that great? I want high resolutions to support my GTX SLI setup. but not sure which monitor to get, is the extra 3 inches worth the extra money for the 2405 compared to the gateway?

definetely get the 24... and it would be a waste of ur GTX SLI setup to not get the 24... besides, if u get the 20in, just makes u want the 24 even more (i kno, i have that problem)

The gateway is 21 inches, not 20. Plus, won't it be compliant with windows Vista and the whole HDCP thing? where as the 2405 won't be? PLUS, you save like $200 + dollars, you could use to upgrade other parts of the PC, like an extra 2 GB of RAM

That and every 6-12 months you wont have to upgrade your hardware just to keep up with the 2405's ultra high resolution.

That might be the case with the 21" widescreen too. I'm wondering what it will take to run Fear at it's native resolution.

I'm waiting for a broader selection of HDCP capable monitors to be released before I buy one. The Gateway is a good deal but some have complained that the viewing angles are narrow and the area directly in front of you seems darker than the sides.
