2405FPW Scaling options

Just a few questions.

Playing games at 1920x1200 and 1600x1200 ALL the time is kind of a pain in the ass, even with top of the line video cards (im upgrading to dual XFX 7950gt's next month), it can still lag a bit.

So I decided I think from now on I may use scaling in games which lag with a really high resolution (FEAR, etc). What is the best way to do this? I can use the "Aspect" option on my 2407fpw, can I use my video card driver? Which one has higher quality scaling?

It's a "dumb" question, but it's good for noobs to ask dumb questions.. he he.. jk!

Try it for yourself and see! It hardly takes any more effort than typing these questions.

1280x800 is a nice widescreen resolution for older video cards... but FSAA and AF are highly recommended for that rez... or else there would be horrible jaggies.
