Hi,

Im in the UK and received my 2405FPW today. However, the carrier seems to have lost the little box containing the power cord, so I have a monitor that i can't use! I just wanted to know if the power cord for the 2405 is a standard PC power cord, or something proprietry? If its standard then I can power it up, otherwise i'll have to wait god knows how long for a proper cord.

On a side note, I noticed a lot of people seem to have been waiting a long time for their 2405FPW's to arrive in Europe. I ordered mine may 5th and got it today, May 12th...only took a week despite the rep insisting it would take 50 days. also, dell uk are offering 25% off at the moment, I got it for £610 shipped. (its not on the website, but you can request it on the phone).

Yes, I just did. It uses a standard 110v line. The cord is interchangable with my PSU and old monitor.

Yes, it uses standard power cable. I didn't even use the original one provided by Dell.
