I own a 2405 and i've been noticing wierd shadowed textures in games. Shadowed or dark areas look kind of mettalic, especially if there is detail in the black, metallic as if it were like 30 hz, kind of wierd feeling looking at it. I guess im pointing more toward, details in black or very dark areas look kind of wierd. Is this an lcd issue? anyone know what im talking about? Maybe this is a tweaking issue, if anyone knows what im talking about please help.

Thanks

I know what you're talking about. It's just an LCD issue, nothing to worry about. If it really bothers you though, then that's going to be a problem as most LCD's experience this issue. If you have sufficient ambient light in your room it makes the "chrominess" less pronounced. :)

try these settings:
Red 36
Green 33
Blue 32
Brightness 27
Gamma .91 (nvidia color correction)
Digital Vibrance 2 clicks to the right (nvidia color correction)

Mine's now at:
Red: 33
Green: 33
Blue: 33
Brightness: 0

nVidia Digital Vibrance set to low, just before it changes to medium. The rest is all default with the latest ForceWare 77.72 WHQL drivers. Works for my particular panel perfectly. :)

wow thanks guys its a lot better, i guess it is an lcd issue so that a relief, i was thinking it was bad bleeding or something.
