Maybe a stupid question from something I am overlooking but here goes....When I go into the 2405's setup menu, then go to Image Settings...the scaling option is set at the first one ( I guess thats monitor scaling?)...however, the menu won't let me go to the scaling option in order to set it to aspect. Is this something I probably don't have to do anyway? :) I was hoping if I could set it to aspect I would get the correct res on games that don't support my native, then just have a couple black rows around the side. The way it is now, even with fixed aspect set within nvidia control panel, if I try to run a 21inch widescreen res it still gets stretched across the entire 24inch screen. Am I overloocking an option i need to change in order to maneuver to the scaling option in the 2405 setup menu?

are you usingDVI or VGA? (white or blue)

The scaling is for scailing lower then the native res of the 2405,

1:1 is that exact res inside the center of the monitor

Fill fills the whole monitor no matter what res (distortion and stretching may accour)

Aspect fills it to the same aspect ratio (so if you have it set to 800x600 it will scail to fit the whole monitor but still keeping its shape, so black bars on the sides will appier)

Try it from ingame. I know that I was able to adjust mine with no problems.

Man, thanks a lot!! I was trying to change it when on the desktop before entering the game. I loaded up a game and my monitor's menu allowed me to navigate to the scalling section. I just assumed you could set it anytime since I assumed the monitors menu was seperate.

Thanks for the heads up, it worked like a champ
