Started appearing after around 15 minutes of use, 1080i component off a ps2 gt4. Rolling lines vertically going up. Are they all like this? i just replaced my monitor but i dont think my old one had this problem, it just had bad backlighting.

That's not normal, my first one had that problem, and i got it replaced, 2nd one didn't have that problem but had 6 or so dead pixels, 3rd one is perfect with no rolling lines or dead pixels.

hm just tried it this morning, now its fine, but the only difference between when it had rolling lines is that it was super hot after prolonged use, could this be a heat issue?

Hm, I noticed last night that my monitor was also pretty hot after playing halo on it for a while. Still, it wasn't anything I considered dangerous to the monitor.

i had that problem on my first one, once it heated up i would get the rolling lines, rma it, it shouldn't do that.

my new one can be running for hours playing half life 2 and be all warmed up and i can switch over and play halo 2 with no lines.

the other one would start showing lines after around 45-60 minutes of being on
