2405 - plug-in kvm to component input for PIP??

Just bought the 2404, and would like to connect my other PC's that are connected to a kvm switch, using the component input on the monitor so that I can see them in the PIP window. I can't find a way to just plug in the vga cable from the kvm becasue it appears that the monitor won't display vga in the PIP window. So, I think I need either a secial cable or converter, but am not sure.

Has anyone tried this successfully?
 
i use the TV out on my video card via S-Video so i can watch tv with my tv tuner card in the PIP window.
 
Isn't anyone using the PIP feature for something besides xbox?

I have called a couple places to ask whether I need a vga-component converter, or just a simple cable, and neither place could tell me.

anyone else care to chime in on this?
