Is this really an issue, I can notice it in games where the corners are brighter, im not sure if this is bleeding or uneven lighting. I turned the brightness to 100 with a black background to get this image.Thanks

This is an issue with MANY MANY LCD screens. Just looks like uneven lighting sometimes called backlight bleeding. I doubt you do much better if you did an exchange so I'd turn the brightness down a bit and play games with brighter colors. :cool:

QFT - I've got the same issue. You're quite unlikely to notice in most everyday use, imho. I only notice mine when booting the comp (only time I get to look at a completely black background).
 
Trust me Dave... from the looks of the pic... You don't have any backlight problems. If ya want to see real backlight problems, read over the Dell 2005fpw thread.

Very clean screen you have IMO.
 
Yeah, it sure is very minor compared to the poor 2005FPW owners... :( Maybe if you turn the brightness all the way down you may get less backlight bleeding.
 
actually with 0 brightness it looks similar, i think its just the monitor cause jellyhead has the same thing. But playing games i notice it cause im constantly turning and i can tell the sides get brighter. Viewing angle is also horrible too, staring dead center I get angle fading on the sides, staring arms distance.
