2405 and xbox360... lines and VGA

My buddy also has a 2405, about 2 months ago we borrowed a 360 and used it on his 2405 via component?(red green blue) After about 20 min he would get these weird horizontal lines running across the screen.

Last night i picked up a 360 and gow, i was relieved to not have the same problem... untill about 3 hours into game play...

Any idea whats causing this? I dont think i have a warr on my monitor anymore..

I was considering getting the VGA cable for the 360 but Iam reading mixed reviews vs the component(?)

Will i be happier with the vga? and will it take care of these lines?

The 360 vga cable works great with the 2405. Better image then what component gives. Just get the original MS 360 vga cable and you'll be good to go.
