I need recomendations for a good 24" monitor for $400 or under(including tax) for gaming. This monitor will support my PC, Xbox360, and PS3. It will also be used for web browsing and it will be used to watch Blu Rays/DVDs. Mostly gaming. I am open to suggestions for 22" monitors as well, maybe even some 26" monitors if they can be had for $400 or under.

I've taken a long hard look at the Samsung T240HD. I can buy that now for 329.99 before tax on Newegg. It seems to fit my needs, though I don't watch any TV. I've heard a lot of positive things about this monitor. I've seen this monitor in action in some HD videos on YouTube, it looks very nice, quality wise. One thing that is holding me back however, are reports of Blu Ray films not looking so good on this screen. Especially in dark scenes. Does anyone here have this problem?

I mostly play RPGs and MMO's. I do play a few FPS titles. COD: WAW most of the time. I also play some America's Army sometimes. COD4, some other shooters. I do plan to play these titles online via PC. So, naturally input lag will be a concern.

Some other things.
Glossy screens don't bother me, TN doesn't bother me. VESA mounting isn't a concern either.

Any suggestions will be welcome.

LG M237WD-PM Black would be the closest LG compare same price http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005120
Both are native 1920x1080.

I went from a LG 22" @1680x1050 to Samsung 24" @ 1920x1200 actually I watch both HD & BlueRay movies with my internal LG-H20L drive with PowerDVD8.....my Samsung is true knockout @1920x1200.

I just picked up a Samsung T240 and I am very impressed. No ghosting, beautifully rich colors (the best blacks I have seen on a tn LCD screen) and fantastic contrast ratio 20000:1 make this a great affordable gaming panel. My friend has a benq and he's selling it to get the Sammy he was so impressed!
