24" S-PVA Recommendations?

Hi,

I am looking to buy a new 24" monitor. I know I want an S-PVA panel since it is a good combination of speed and color plus it has excellent contrast. HDMI would be nice, but it is not required. However, that's about the extent of my knowledge. Due to my housing situation I cannot go out and do comparisons in the store and I don't know what I am looking at with all the other specs.

Can anyone recommend a few 24" S-PVA screens? My budget is up to $500.

How about the dell 2408wfp. Its 519 right now. I had this monitor for a while. Great monitor was just too big for me.

I saw the other thread on the Dell. Unfortunately, people were having a lot of problems with input lag and some white bleeding through the black.

I think I am going to settle on the HP LP2475w. It's an H-IPS, so excellent color, ok contrast, and ok speed. It's expensive, but I think it will be worth it.
