Flying home from college southwest destroyed my 20'' LG 204WT that I had packed to bring home.

Looks like Santa is going to be bringing me a new LCD. Primarily I will have the monitor hooked up to my Xbox 360 and I will be using an old PC to run movies and such on it. This is 99% going to be a gaming monitor.

I'm thinking that the $250 - $300 price point that is comfortable for me is dictating a 24'' LCD and I'm okay with that.

In between $250 - $330 or so what's the best LCD out there for what I need? I would love to pick it up locally since I don't want to get stuck with a dead pixel or two off of new egg. Still, let me know what's possible for newegg/online and possibly local - Thank you!!

Acer p241waid for thar price range would be my recommendation. You can find it on sale for about $275. It has an HDMI port as well. I have this monitor and it looks works great.

I love the ACER p241waid. I have one and it is awesome. $250 is a great deal.
