24" LCD Recommendation

Alright, I've been reading a lot on 24"s that have popped up recently, trying to replace my old (free) 23" Apple Cinema Display (the lag sucks on it :().

What I need is good to great color quality, as I do DCC and texture work, but the dilemma lies in that I game, a lot. I need a monitor that's a good in-between, the price limit I have is about $650 US.

I do some of my DCC at work (IT at a college with access to great old school Dell 1901FP's, and still a student, masters atm, but I do freelance as well), the rest at home.

I've noticed what some have said about LCD's more geared towards professionals having lag in games, I've noticed this in Crysis, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, et al.

I've seen the color bleed and the color gradation that comes with TN panels, I use a 220WM as a secondary at home, and I frown at it.

tl;dr: Need a good balance between low input lag and color/image quality.
