My current setup is an i7-4770K and a 7970 Vapor-X. I am looking for a 24" gaming monitor now that BF4 is out. I have gift cards to Staples, Best Buy, and Amazon so I would prefer to buy there. I don't watch any video on it except the occasional youtube clip. My current monitor is the Dell S2209W since I had one laying around from a previous deal. I also have been happy with my Asus VW266H which I have in my bedroom, but I bought that years ago and haven't kept up with the tech since. I don't have any windows that face the monitor so glare won't be an issue and I mostly play at night.
I know the HP Z24i gets recommended a bunch, but it doesn't look like Best Buy or Staples carries it. Amazon has it, but it is through a third party so I am hesitant since I have had bad luck with returns to third parties in the past.
The Ben Q xl2420te also seems to be high up there in recommendations. The Asus VG248QE, I believe that is the right one, is the other one I see a lot.
