So I'm completely new to the LCD screen scene, and I'm looking for some guidance.

I'm looking to spend around $550.00 on a new 24" screen. I've been looking around, trying to research but everything that I've read has basically confused me.

Anyway, if you guys could point me towards a few 24" that are good quality for around that price range, and why it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Edit: Looking at the BenQ, and the Dell2407WFP. If you have any knowledge of drawbacks/benefits between the two, I'd love to hear them.

I just orders the samsung 245bw after reading slot about it the 245 is suppose to be badass for gaming

.

and the more you read the more confused u’ll be, and if you read little bit more …u’ll get a CRT or maybe wait for the 0 input lag, 0 response time, 180 viewing angles, super rich colors flawless LCD monitor with a “Type R” sticker on it :D

2 months ago I entered a store and wanted to choose some 19” LCD based on the looks, my friend was with me and we started comparing monitors based on their color and material, now nothing satisfies me, even the 226BW/245BW

It’s a shame we can’t OverClock monitors :(
