Do these exist? I was thinking about the Dell S2409W but its so wide for a pc monitor that I dont know if I would like it. I am going to use it for web surfing and office. I am also thinking I may use it for watching movies and maybe hook my 360 up to it. I was thinking the 1:1 pixel mapping would keep my 360 and movies from getting stretched.

Does the 1:1 pixel mapping make the movie look like its supposed to on a 16:10 or does it add to the black bars on a movie? I dont care about black bars but I was just thinking if the 1:1 mapping makes them thicker or larger? Just something I thought about.

Ive never had a 16:9 for a computer monitor and just thought It might be to wide.

Any input?

I think most monitors should have this option. At least my NEC 2690 surely does. Although I don't know if it works well with the 360.

I'm trying to stay around $300ish if possible. Id love to have that NEC. Its what I have now. I have the NEC 20.1 wmgx2. I think thats the model number. I love it but want to go bigger.

I see why you would want 16:10 if you want more vertical res for doing work sometimes.

Your Xbox 360 should however run fine on the S2409W even if it is stretched. The 360 runs at 16:9 resolutions anyway, and movies shouldn't be a problem either. I've been running an S2409W for a while now with no problems with my PS3 and planning to get another.

It actually replaced my old Dell 2407WFP which was 16:10 with 1:1 and it just seems so much thinner, and uses a lot less power.
