22" LCD

Oops I though I put it up. Yeah sorry about the quick "up" but I'm bout to pass out here and wanted a quick answer or two.

Sorry sorry.

Give it some more time. You DO realized you posted at almost 6 am EST, which is when probably everyone on the east coast is asleep.

That being said, there was an Acer on sale at Circuit City for $180 after rebate. I think if you held off, you could probably find something a bit cheaper.

Oh really? Link? Thanks a ton in advance!

Is it this exact model? Where did you find out this info - newspaper?

Well now, its all over the place.

But i know because i am a super awesome genius.....and its in the ad this sunday. Along with a lot of sweet deals.

I have seen the ad, my store only has 26....show up early. And every BB will have wii's too.

I went to circuit city last night to check out a different monitor but took a look at this one as well. It seems pretty nice but I have a few gripes:
1. The stand is wobbly.
2. The tilt function seems to suck horribly. I had to use a lot of strength to get it to tilt at all, and even when it did, it didn't tilt very far (vertically). I guess this isn't a necessity, but it is nice.
3. Personal preference - I wish the trim was black instead of silver.

But for $189 out the door, this is a killer deal. Also note that Circuit City will price match and take off 10% of the other store's price as long as the competitor has the item in stock. That is, it would cost about $189-$19 = $170. I would check out BB and how many of these things are selling first, though. It might not be worth it to risk the $20.

I bought one of the AL2223W's early to avoid the Memorial Day rush at Best Buy. This LCD is amazing coming from an Acer AL1917 (standard 5:4) LCD. Like what DarkenReaper57 said, I didn't really like the stand and with the money that will be saved by going with this monitor, I invested in an Ergotron LCD stand from Staples (Item # 619234) for only $30! If you find you don't like the original Acer stand, the Ergotron is definitely a worthwhile addition to making your experience with the LCD that much more enjoyable. :)
