Microsoft's 2019 Vision

We don't really have a techtalk board here, so i opted to post this here. Mods, please feel free to move if this thread is lost.

Anyway, recently came across how Microsoft sees the near future. Very optimistic indeed, to early for 10 years i think. But then again, I guess, they wouldn't want a prediction where Bill is already dead. Lol
 
If this technology is supposed to be in use in next 10 years, what will happen in 20 years? :D
I think, that portable touch display is sucessor of netbooks or tablets. But dont have any image of where is storage device, battery and connector. It still have futuristic design to include all parts to thin display.
 
the economy isnt good enough to support that sort of torrent pace it would take for technology to hit that point in 10 years..
 
That is a very empowering video that they have posted. Microsoft sure has some big dreams, and, really, they have already come out with Surface which, seeing from that video, is a scaled-down version of what has yet to come
 
It's cool to see things like that. It's amazing to look back and see the progress that has been made in my lifetime so far and I'm only in my 30's. I can only imagine the advances many years from now.
