How come you don't see more people utilizing 200mm radiators?

most 200mm fans put out more CFM then a 120 and do it slower and quieter and can be.

Because 200mm fans aren't common and they lack static pressure. Not to mention very few cases utilize fans that size.

Also, who makes 200mm rads besides Antec (lulz) and Phobya (European)?

Because there are few cases that will fit them, there arent too many around, and 120mm/140mm rads are sufficient enough for most.

Limited choice, for one. There are only a couple 200mm rads on the market, and between the two only the Phobya is copper/brass (the other being the Antec, which is aluminum).

The number of cases that will fit a 200mm rad, particularly without modding, is far fewer than will fit 120mm rads.

There are no reviews on them.

Most 200mm fans seem to have poor static pressure ratings compared to the better 120mm fans, which makes them a poor choice for radiator fans.

edit: beaten to the punch.

The Silverstone FM181 fans (180mm) have decent static pressure ratings, and they fit on the Phobya 200 Extreme radiator...

for what it is worth.

I think it's all been said. Not a many making 200mm rads. Not too many outstanding 200mm fans. Not too many cases accept 200mm fan/rads w/o mods. But it has been done. With what seems to be pretty good results!

Little bit of necro here, but anyone know of any plans for more 200mm radiator offerings? I got the NZXT phantom and getting a 200.2 to fit up there would be perfect.
