Did a search and only found threads from a couple months back, don't know how much has changed.

I want to get a monitor for the pc I've ordered. I've had really good luck with Dells and love their quality. I have the 2001fp from quite a ways back and it's been solid, so naturally, I'd look there again. I like the thin bezel very much, but on the same hand, I'm conflicted in that I want a 1920x1200 monitor as well (preferably 22" at that point). Is the 2009wfp worth the price or could I get a better monitor elsewhere?

Isn't the 2009WFP a 20", WSXGA+ monitor?

I believe it is also a TN panel (along with the 2209WFP I use at work).

1680x1050? Yes it is. I'm fine with a TN panel, it'll be on a swivel mount if I really need to look elsewhere.

I would say Dell 2209WA, but I'm not sure about the supply availability. It's one of the best 22 inchers out there.

The supply is low on the Dell 2209WA. I configured a Dell Precision T3400 workstation online for someone and then I notice the 2209WA is no longer available as one of the monitors to choose. It was there before though.

If your not bothered with TN panel, then, just get this Acer X223Wbd 22" 1680x1050 lcd for $150 w/free shipping. It has Vesa mount.

If you don't mind a 1080P Res, 16:9 size monitor, look at this ASUS VW246H 24in for $220 w/free shipping.

How are either on picture quality, lag, etc?

That said, is the 2009WFP a bad monitor? I have some dell store credit which is why I'm leaning that way and Dells never given us a problem with the three LCD's we've bought from them.

EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236053 I think I'm a huge fan of this one
