Hello, my friend is selling his 2007WFP and gave me this code, and i was wondering if you can verify or declare that this is a S-IPS panel or not.


MXOHF730466346542WGL is the info he gave me. I looked at the thread where they discussed this but they had odd numbers. Is there something else i should ask him for?
 
Looking through the thread, I'm 99% sure that every serial number that ended in 'L' was an S-IPS panel. So if that's the serial number, it's an S-IPS.
 
I can confirm serial number ending in L is S-IPS. Even easier way to check is to look at the panel from the side, if dark colours (especially black) get a violet tint, it is SIPS.
